Week 6- by Nicole Nicole & Megan S went to help put a worm farm together for our school, it was a lot of fun. We are also selling plants at the student center, please come and get some, $3.00 each or 2 for $5.00. Each house has a vege garden that we are growing that you can see by the back gate, the frame is made from wood and even better Kaitlyn(Rm13), Nicole(Rm13),Branden(Rm11), and Cane (Rm11) made the frame with no adult help.
Term 1 Week 9 - by Nicole
This week Nicole,Kaitlyn,Shareen,Megan.S.D and Jay-jay planted lots of shrubs in the gardens near the library. Kaitlyn,Shareen,Nicole and Megan all got a bage that we where to let people know that we are the ones that put in all the hard work and make the school gardens look nice and tidy, we also go around the school and tell people off for walking in the gardens, because that is braking the school rules and they could get a thinking plan. But we all have alot of fun working in the RUTHERFORD GARDENS thanks to all the team of room 13 for all your hard work.
Week 5 - by Nicole This week Nicole, Megan.S.D, Shareen and Jay-Jay worked on pulling more weeds out of the gardens. They also raked up leaves and put them in the green waste bin. It was a lot of hard work, but they got there in the end. They are planning to plant more plants around the school. The group have also made a treaty for RUTHERFORD'S gardeners and they all had to sign the back of it.

Week 3 - by Nicole We went to a meeting and we talked about plants and how to tell boy plants and girl plants apart. Then we talked about some plant holdings for our gardens. After that we went outside and looked in our area and what places need a clean up of dead plants and weeds, also what places need more plants Megan,Nicole and Alex sat down and pulled all the weeds out around the area in front of the our the Rutherford classrooms. While the others cleaned up around the staff room, the tree and trees near the playground. When we got backed we went back to our classes and had lunch!! Thanks
